At New Way | Spanish, we operate on 50 to 60-min appointments for Spanish Lessons.
Therefore, when canceling an appointment, students are required to provide at least a 24-hour notice to the scheduled time. If they don’t, that session will be counted as a class taken, while the tutor uses that time to focus on future lessons.
Students are entitled to one cancellation per month, where they can cancel a session in LESS than 24 hours and it will not be counted as part of their lesson package.
Classes canceled with MORE than 24 hours in advance need to be rescheduled within the same week or the following week. In case the student is not able to do so he/she would have up to 30 days to make up this session with his/her tutor or any available. After 30 days, make-up classes are not granted.
Should the tutor cancel a session with less than 24-hour prior notice, Students will be entitled to one free class upon rescheduling. This free session must be redeemed within 7 days of the cancelation.
However, shall the tutor cancel a session with MORE than 24-hour notice, we shall be entitled to no free session, but the class shall be rescheduled within 14 days.
For our MTM PLAN students have one (1) free cancellation (24 hrs in advance or less) every month. Reschedule of classes must be within a week of their initial appointment. Students are entitled to pause their BIANNUAL PLAN for up to two weeks (14 days) and their ANNUAL PLAN for up to 4 weeks (30 days). In the case of a longer break needed for those plans, Students are expected to complete their lessons on an agreed timeframe when they resume their lessons. Reschedule will be subject to availability and canceled classes will be counted as taken. When a class is rescheduled it counts as a 'make up class' these classes can't be rescheduled, and when canceled are count as taken.
In the event of cancellation without minimum notice due to circumstances beyond the student control or control of the tutor, this contract is null and void. Examples of these causes are (1) acts of God or of the public enemy, (2) acts of the government in either its sovereign or contractual capacity, (3) fires, (4) floods, (5) epidemics, (6) quarantine restrictions, (7) strikes, (8) freight embargoes, and (9) unusually severe weather.
